I got 7 eggs from Bishops Chickens, the lemon blue ones that I covet! They went in the incubator yesterday and will be due on my daughters Birthday! I am watching carefully and trying to do everything right but we'll see how it goes! I am sure I will be back for more advise! I am so excited!

I think those are really pretty birds, also. Did you have them shipped or were you able to pick them up?

Congratulations!

I'm in lockdown on my first batch, so I know just how you feel.

I hope so too. It's very difficult to find the eggs you want near you for a decent price. My eggs were (almost) all shipped and I put them in the incubator today. It will be fun to see how we both do with the shipped eggs. I expect yours to do really well coming from such a good source!

ISet sixteen serama on the 18th Friday night so I’m counting the 19th as day one. Four days in everything looks good so far but first time I have hatched serama eggs so a little nervous. Temp between 99.4 and 100.4, humidity 40 - 45 percent.

Was going to candle all the eggs tomorrow but I am to anxious to wait. Think I’m going to candle tonight. It will be officially day ten tonight. I know you don’t count day one if you set eggs till after noon, but I’m going to for candling because I can. Ha, wish me luck.
