My first sewn piece!!!!

Yes it took 2 hours to do it,, I threaded the machine wrong after I knocked the spool of thread off of it chasing a cat. I had to call my mom for tech support, took about 2 seconds to fix... She said for as many times as I've graduated from college I'm not the brightest bulb....... Yeah,, let's see her teach my class! LOL! But I managed to sew two little squares onto a rectangle and trim the corners so it looked like the picture in the magazine! I'm proud of it darn it!

I'm just practicing right now,, but I have a feeling my OCD is going to give me fits with this,, I'm hoping it helps me relax and I think once I get the machine right, I will be ok. Those piecing pattern you sent me will help a lot too!

Thank you,, about 118 of those minutes was spent wasting a lot of thread because I had the machine wrong and didn't see it. This is going to be fun learning over my break,, thank Heaven's for text messages and Golden!

Flying Geese? It's from a star pattern, but I like the sound of Flying Geese better!!
