This is the back view of the coop. (We still haven't gotten to paint it yet.)

This is the door that the chickens use when we let them run around in our yard:

This is the back view. The windows are facing the south, but their run sort of gets in the way.

This is the door I use to get in the coop. (Sorry, the picture is turned.)

This is the inside of the coop.

These are the nesting boxes from the inside:

This is where we collect the eggs from the nesting boxes:

This is the roosting pole and part of the window:

And last, but certainly not least, the storage loft:

So what do you guys think? How can I improve? Where can I put more perches? Any ideas would be appreciated.

It looks really nice to me already...

I really like the roofing material. That's great when it snows.

If you're thinking about "upgrades," why not add a slanted board to the top of the nestboxes? It looks like they probably like to jump up there and sleep. Is that a place you're constantly having to clean?

The other thing is switching out the chicken wire behind the glass windows for some hardware cloth (if the windows open). Chicken wire won't keep predators out of your coop.

If you need more perches, build a slanted, runged perch where you have the roost right now with several levels of roosts.

One thing I'll mention because someone told me and it sounded reasonable.
I saw you had snow around your coop so you must live in the north somewhere and it must get cold. I was told to build roosts that the chickens could roost on and cover all their feet. A That way they would be able to keep them warm and resist frostbite. Also, I was told that chicken's feet weren't made to wrap around poles. I've put 2x6 deck boards as my roosts, but I've also heard people use 2x4's as roosts and they work well too.
