About two weeks ago my boyfriend and I were walking in the woods by a lake and I heard an eagle call. Then we saw it land in a tree. That was my first wild sighting of a bald eagle. Years ago when I volunteered at a wildlife rehab there was a bald eagle with an amputated wing. I was able to feed him a couple times, ok, really it was just throwing some defrosted mice onto a tree stump. But it was still really cool.
