My first Silkie Egg with pic

I not to long ago traded a trio of Black Copper Marans for some silkies. Today i got my first egg from one of the girls. I will be saving them up and as soon as i have a six pack in to the incubator they will go. this is my first egg next to BCM egg for size comparison.

Gotta love the first Silkie egg.

I recommend that you allow them to get into a pattern of laying for a few weeks first though, before you put them in the bator.
