Thank you very much. I try to be as safe as i can it just bothers me when people dont move because some day it could be there house ya know? My ccaptain always says there are just some times when you just cant do anything more than you already did. its those times that will hurt the most he said.
I never heard of "sirencide" and sometimes people either are ignorant about how to pull over or give the truck some room to get around OR they simply can not move because there is no where for them to get out of the way.
Just keep your cool in the traffic and all will go well. I agree with Opa!
That's very cool. I'm a paid, career firefighter/paramedic and there aren't many of us that can have credit for taking a baby out of a working structure fire in our turnout coat that actually lived. You ought to be proud and happy for yourself. Good luck in your fire career.

Congratulations on your choice to be a fire explorer. I lost a sister in a house fire and it really makes me happy to see young people care enough to take that path.
Last week my mother fell in the garden and could not get up due to a severe spell of vertigo (MRI on friday) and her husband called 911. The first responders were there in a minute to help them until the ambulance arrived. I was so proud to know there are people like them, and yourself out there. Thank you for what your doing
