My First time Venting Ducks Can any one tell ?

I Am hoping I did it right .. My Goodness they were very young I believe one day old .. and so fluffy around their vents I am pretty sure after a bit of poop I saw at least one male .. Quite sure ... My Grand daughter has bug bites not chicken pox.. I hope I did it right !!! I really only wanted one male and female .. She REally was being far more gentle than the pictures look !

did any of them have a little bump or fleshy worm like thing come out when you opened its vent if it did its a boy
