So first of all I'm wondering how to know if I have a BBB or a standard bronze. When I bought it they just told me it was a bronze so I'm not too sure.
Next question is when will my turkey get its balance? Its a week and 2 days and walks a bit like a toddler, wobbly and a bit unbalenced.

Thank you! Is there any way to tell what kind of bronze it is before it reaches adulthood?

What do you mean "get it's balance"? Your poult should have balance after 1 week and 2 days. Is it falling down? What's going on with it? My poults are up and running within 48 hours after hatching.

I'm a brand new first time turkey mom too, mine is only 2 days old than yours and is identical. I have a the broad breasted bronze. So if that helps any... mine is running and is chasing the dogs and me through the house. so you lil one being unsteady. I can't help ya there. good luck. I'll be keeping an eye out for your post to see how your lil' one is doing.

Its not falling over, it just runs around and seems to basically trip over its own feet. Not literally but like I said it moves a lot like a toddler but its seems to be getting stedyer each day. Its also growing very fast but thats pretty normal for any turkey right?
Thanks for all the help so far by the way :)

Yes, sounds like it's growing on time and as scheduled. Perhaps it's just a clumsy toddler. Keep an eye on it and keep us posted.

As it grows you will be able to tell the difference. BBB have shorter kegs and gain weight very fast, to be a heavy harvest size in 4 to 6 months. You can have them for processing for Thanksgiving, because they stay tender well into their second year, if they don't succumb to heart or leg trouble ! If you bought it from a feed store, it is probably BBB. If you paid less than $10 a poult, it is probably a BBB! If in doubt, you can always ask the people you bought it from, unless, of course, you bought it from TSC, because they know NOTHING !!!
