My first Welsummers! Easy to sex pullet chicks yielded one Gorgeous Rooster

This is my beautiful BamBam and he is so lovely. This is my first group of Welsummers. I was drawn to them for their dark eggs which I wait in great anticipation for. My 6 almost 4 month old Wellies were sexed to be pullets (since they are so easy to visually sex) but as you can see BamBam is all boy! Just started to crow and he is very friendly and gentle. While I did not set out to get a rooster, I could not be more pleased. I am sure this has happened to other Welsummer enthusiasts?

My two hatched wellsummer roosters were mean. As a chick, I can see it was a boy. (Yours). He is pretty. Glad he is a nice one.
