My "fixed" cat is having another litter *Pics post 19*

Come to think of it he was. We got him from the local animal shelter but he was to young to get fixed so they gave us a voucher to take him to their clinic. He doesn't spray or any other normal man cat things like that. Could he still not be fixed if that if he doesn't display any of the usual male behaviors?

Trust me, if he was still intact you would know it. Intact male cat urine reeks to high heaven. Even if he weren't spraying, your whole house would stink of strong cat urine. Every time we get an intact male at work that has to stay for more than a few hours he makes the whole clinic smell of intact cat pee. For the life of me I don't understand how anyone can stand to live with an intact male cat in the house.

I hope all is going well!

How many kittens so far?

Though all our cats (both male and female) are fixed now we had two tom cats that had free access of the house and outside. The litter box was in the kitchen and they both used it, I never noticed any strong smell of urine from them. So I don't think its ALL intact male cats. Ours never did anything male like inside either though. The fixed male cat we have now like to pee on our clothes in the bathroom if we don't remember to pick them up. His pee stinks, but I think all cat pee stinks.

Good luck with the kittens!

We are working on number 2 now and the dog is going crazy because she can't get in the closet with the cat. This is as close to babies as she is ever going to get (besides chicks and ducklings

)so she really wants to see and I bet try and keep one for herself. Off for more kitty watch!

It's been over two years since I've had a small kitten in my house! Love the babies, but I hate the teenage stage in kittens,

I'm too old for all that kitty crazies!!

A friend has had 6 cats fixed at one of those county paid deals. You go to the township, tell them people keep dropping off strays, you can let them stay but they need to be fixed. The county then gives you vouchers for each cat and you take it to a particular vets office. Well apparently the vet is tipping the ears and not fixing the cats and just pocketing the money. Guessing he figures its unlikey someone will trap the same cat twice to check if its really done I guess? Same person now has all 6 feral females running around her barn, either just popped or about to pop.

Seven kittens later I think she is finally done. My husband is not a happy camper because he kept asking why she is getting fat, in complete denial about the kittens. We have 3 white ones so I told him we only have 5 he is just seeing triple
