My Flaming Red Orpington Roo - New Photos pg 11

Everyone dreams ofthe colors of orps from across the pond. Chocolate is one of many I would someday like to have. I am not interested in breeding for it any time soon.

Red did not inherit a blue gene.

They do have beautiful birds there, from pics I've seen. But you are not a person to sit still long and now I remember the wording: Grey is a dilute Chocolate, when speaking genetics (about Weis) which will sit in the back of your mind and someday, you'll be famous in the bird world for USA...Red and Choc orps from MP...cheering you on!

MissP, here is an early pic of Meg and her half sister, Scarlett, now owned by rooster-red. They had the same sire, Julie's former rooster, also named Big Red, by coincidence. So, you see the deep red that is in Meg's background on her daddy's side. Wonder what Meg's babies will be like, mated to big blue Suede? Cant wait to find out! Then, when you cross those daughters to your Big Red, it should be quite exciting to see what pops out!
