Sarah, I would love to get my boys in 4 H as well. I looked into it once and it didn't start until like 3rd grade.

How old is your son? He's a cutie, just like his bunnies.

I love your fawn Sioux! Are you planning on breeding her?

Hes 4 years old. Wont be 5 till the end of Aug.

Do yall let yalls flemishes run around the yard? If so, what kind of fencing?

I have welded wire and I know my larger one cant fit through it. Welded is what I have on the hutch and the female will stick her nose through it when I walk up to the hutch but Im still scared if she really wanted she could fit through it. I let her in the chicken run for exersize (the chickens run around in the yard, never the run so there isnt poo in there..).

How fast can a rabbit dig a hole? I would never let them out unsupervised but I would have my back turned gardening and such...

Beautiful rabbits!
In answer to how fast can a rabbit dig a hole. It depends on the rabbit! We started with chickens. Just adding rabbits last year. So we have alot of chicken "tractors" that only get used occasionally. We like to put the bunnies out in these on nice days. We have one doe who is currently grounded from getting to play in the tractors, as she dug a deep hole! luckally she didnt aim it out of the tractor. None of our others seem to dig at all. And I have two doe lops (sisters) who live together in a tractor full time. We move them like 8 times a day. Hubby is hoping they will mow the yard for him this year
