My Flock (& breed guessing game)

they aren't quite purebred they look too big and don't have the right form for one but they might be a bad quality
Also, the cockerels start out with the barred appearance, and get their gold as they mature, so my guys might be pretty close to purebred, just still young.

The hens are the size of a small pidgeon, they were grazing/browsing in the pic, couldn't catch them upright and together. The rooster is just a hair bigger than the hens, but still pidgeon sized.

To give a bit more info, she was supposed to be part of the "brown egg laying assortment".

a bin of chicks were a assortment at True value and there brown egg layers was only 2 brown egg layers and the rest were white egg layers out of 15 chicks but yours might be a white rock

more pics or those suspected O.E.G.B. and what color are there skin pic of leg will help to :)

Ok, will try to remember to catch them and get a skin color and leg color pic.

Is Pearl a White Rock?

I think so. I guess it's possible she's a Leghorn, but her comb seems very small, even at her youngish age. I guess we'll see if she lays white or brown eggs! (She's 17 1/2 wks old)

All right, #'s 13 & 14, Penny & Patty. They came with Pearl, the last bird listed. Hatched June 1st. Close up of feathers included... what breed?
