Thanks for the pm Lorettawyandotte. My first dobie was a Warlock. Her name was Warlocks Grace of My Heart (Gracie) I know they are all wrong as confirmation dogs but she had a stunning perfect wedge head and was huge and solid built. She was my obediance dog till I lost her early to kidney disease. My next one was out of a local show line and was a real pretty red like your first pic. She was my rally competition dog. I Loved the look of your red girl and was kind of thinking of a way to convince my hubby I NEEDED another puppy Once you have a dobie its hard to be without one around isnt it? Thanks for the pics they made me smile

yeah...once you have had a Doberman, it is hard to have something else...I like the clean coat and the intelligence...I have been owned for 25 years and the little black fm is my 9th generation...goes back to the first one I ever owned...my first was a red fm and she took me to school on proper Doberman care...and she was related to the original Warlock dog, Barong the Warlock...we loved her so much and I have her baby pic and teen pic on my curio shelf in my br...

And as far as them not protecting when in the house (lol)...I leave the sliding glass door open and they come and go as they deem essential...always one ear and one eye on duty...

Henrietta, I think your dog may have some Dobi in it, but I'm no expert. It sure looks like it does though.


You guys are making me want another dobi so bad!! I haven't had any since I was a kid, but I sure loved that dog! I don't know where we got her, but she was beautiful.

Beautiful! I love Dobes. I volunteer for a Doberman rescue in our area too.

This is my girl Jasmine. I adopted her from a kill shelter last November. I was going to try to get her into our rescue, but there were no foster homes available. I knew that if I fostered her, I would just end up falling in love with her anyway. So she's my girl. A total princess.

I still can't believe someone just got rid of her.

Her main issue is that she was never taught any manners. But she's a quick learner.

And this is my Takoda. He will be 7 in May. Best dog ever. He's mostly dobe, little bit mutt. But his temperament, and personality is straight up dobe.
