with a catch...they will protect them from all others because if anyone is going to kill and eat them it will be them...I love them dearly but don't trust them one minute alone with my birds...I used to have very close neighbors who bred, raised and fought game birds...they moved out here to the boonies and turned about sixty birds loose...yeah, like they are going to stay on their side of the drive...well, my dogs learned to kill chickens because our yard would be full of their game birds every morning...and every evening and every afternoon...this was before I moved my birds in and thankfully those horrible people are gone, but my dogs got a taste of catching their own breakfast and I don't think I will ever be able to break them...the red girl will catch them and bring them to me if they get loose...she knows not to hurt them but the other three I have, one not pictured, will kill a chicken, duck or goose in a NY minute...those neighbors also had some very nasty pitbulls...it was a nightmare around here for a while but they are gone and we have our peace a quiet back again...
