After our incident with the incubator, we decided to just buy chicks from Bobbi Porto and someone else for the Orpingtons. The stars aligned and we could get them both in one week. The problem ended up being we had cocci (probably from the Orpingtons). We've medicated and they are acting/looking healthy and their poop is back to normal so hopefully they are ok. I wanted to share the beautiful babies!

Unfortunately, I can tell one of the Orpingtons is definately a roo. The funny part about that is the female is aggressive and the male is loving. I had a feeling it would be a roo, because the feathers weren't as full as his sister. Now we can see reddish in the comb and wattle. We'll see how they are when they get older. I want to keep them, but it'll depends on his behavior/crowing behaviors. We planned to keep a roo of the silkies if we only end up with one. They are so beautiful, I'm not sure I could get rid of any of them!
