I just felt like showing off my girls. So here are some pictures I took of them yesterday and today. Hope you enjoy....
Here is Gretta, she is a BIG Black Sex Link and is the Big Boss Lady! She even keeps our roosters in line...
Heres Kracker, our White Leghorn. She is second in command and the sweetest one we have...
This would be Blanche our Barred Plymouth Rock, she is alittle timid but calms down as soon as she is picked up...
This is Peaches, she is our bottom of the pecking order Golden Comet. She is the most timid of them all. and does NOT like to be picked up...
This is Lil' Red, Our Rhode Island Red rooster, he is a very friendly little guy. He is starting to challenge Gretta as of late, but just hasn't been able to top her yet...
And finally, the last of the chicken resisdents but certainly NOT least is Col. Sanders! Our Barred Plymouth Rock Rooster. He is our prettiest chicken, but not that friendly. But he does settle down and becomes very sweet once you do finally catch him...
This is Grace or Gracie, our Mallard Duck that thinks she is a chicken. She is madly in love with my wife, and follows her everywhere...
Now, here are the residents of our Chicken Hutch...
Here is Mildred, our Buff Cochin...
This is Margret, our other Buff Cochin...
Here they are together...
This is Zsa Zsa, our black Sily Bantam...
This is Eva, our blue Silky Bantam...
And finally, here is Magda, our partridge Silky...
And here are the Gabor Sisters all together!!!
Well... That is the whole flock, I hope you enjoyed them as much as I enjoyed showing them off. I will be posting the Silkies and Cochins again later, after the grow up.
