The mix of bluish gray and darker feathers is striking.I haven't posted any flock photos lately. I've got girls milling around, shots of all 3 adult males (including Rameses II fluffing up assertively -- at a safe distance from his father), and youngers small enough to slip through the fence doing some unauthorized free-ranging.

Not sure if the camera caught it, but a couple girls are getting way too bald and worn. I'm in the process of selling off all the boys except Seti, the Rameses's best black son, and the better of the two Splash boys from the January 29th hatch.
Yes, that includes Rameses himself. He's now breeding with his granddaughters so I'm ready to add some new blood.

Sorry you've had a rough time. Wishing you well!I've had several rough weeks at work and something in my life had to be put to the side for a bit while I coped.
My chicken management is a bit out of whack and I have too many birds and need to sell some but my broodies managed to hatch some babies today (I wasn't expecting them this soon, actually. I lost count and thought it would be Tuesday), so I have to figure out ground-level, open water for them before I go to bed.
