Mango half drowned today. I am really glad I came in time to save her. I can't even imagine losing another chicken

I pulled her out of the water wrapped her in my jacket and took her and her 2 sisters (they were wet but not drowning) inside and dried them

Yeah It is. This was the first time since the fox attack that my chickens weren’t closed before dark. I am still freaked out even thought its been 5 hours since it happened

Poor boy! I took him inside and he's crowing so much! The hen integrated with the existing flock nicely but the roo didn't and has to be kept seperate- so he watches tge chicks. He pecked Peanut but it was such a gentle warning peck! Never saw a rooster so gentle!
