Yaaaaay for a broody momma That's always fun to deal with (okay... I have parrots, but chickens are a LOT bigger and their beaks are more .... pointy).

She didn't stay broody after all But I guess wishing for a broody hen in winter is like wishing for snow in summer

We had a runner duck go broody. New years day she hatched six ducklings and the week prior she hatched a bantam chicken egg.
