I have 3 runner hens, 3 Welsh Harlequin Hens, and 2 Welshie Drakes. I just thought I would show them off!

I can't wait for eggs.

Let me know if anyone else can't see them. They are hosted on facebook, but the images are set to public. I also checked it out without being logged in and it seemed to work.

They are so frightened of me. I wonder if they will ever learn to like me.

Great idea. I think I will start doing that as soon as I put them outside. My plan is to start giving them some treats by hand. I just have to figure out something that they will go nuts over.

Thanks, Joe... it's probably because I'm looking on my computer at work and they have fb blocked here. WELCOME TO BYC... by the way!

I know!! Mine usually act like I'm gonna eat them right up... lol! I was able to tame a couple of adorable runner babies recently by always showing up to the brooder with snacks in my palm. We started with squished peas and moved on to pasta noodles (their favorite). Now they're out in the yard with the flock and when I come into the yard the first thing they do is run to put their little bills in my hand looking for snacks. They can never believe it the first time they check and I don't have any, so they have to look around like I might have dropped it - hahahaha! I'll have to always keep a baggie of noodles in my pocket I guess...
