Oh bless your heart poohbear for bringing up the chronic pain conditions. I find that this is a typical drop the baton response from doctors and being lazy to find out what is the matter with someone. There has to be a first in diagnosing anyone, so it should not matter if she is adopted or not.
I too would contact the State/government to hand over health issues. But in the mean time, the poor girl, she will be in our prayers!
This is strange, but how about trying some tonic water? The one that has Quinine in it, add it to juice, smoothie or anything, the quinine is what they used to give people with muscle and leg cramping. OJ has the potassium and quinine may help. Back when we were doing a lot of walking, my type of arthritis would leave my muscles cramped, I'd mix tonic water 1-4 because I knew I'd drink the whole camel.
Even if its growing pains, there really is no reason to make a child suffer.
Have they checked the girls CRP, Rheumatology levels, mineral (blood) and bone density tests?
This can be a autoimmune disease- I have one that is of the connective tissue. In my forearms, middle of my biceps, ribs, legs and feet. Anywhere there is a tendon connection.
Good Luck and hope she finds something that works. Childhood should not be in pain.
