The green stuff is a product called "Gro-Gel". It is used as a starter to hydrate new hatched baby chicks.

Good news!!!! Its been 2 days now and all is well!!!! I was having a pecking problem with one little girl but she is behaving herself now. I've been trying to get them to pose for new pics (Will add soon)

Thanks Critter, The pics were taken before the chicks were split with a neighbor. I only have 13 of them and my brooder is bigger. The pecking did stop after we got them split up into smaller groups. All are doing wonderful!!! will add new pics soon
