my gander has it all wrong

so i noticed yesterday morning that when my geese were in their pool they were pecking each others backs then the gander climbed on the goose and did the deed only thing was he did the deed on her HEAD!!!!!!!! please tell me he will figure it out for himself and that this is normal. i refuse to go through the birds and the bees with the geese doing so with my kids was hard enough

i truely hope so my dad has found great humor in this whole situation. my poor goose looked at the gander like really dude get a clue. and preceeded to wash her neck and head off vigirously.

Ok if your gander is a year old i can explain if hes older well maybe he likes it that way :-D but ganders that are more then a year have never done it before so he will figure out what feels better for him

At this age he is experiment around to see what feels best to him. So he is confused because he is not old enough to know just where and what to do.... Even females will mount the ganders when young so it is play time right now.......

***!!!! Only 6 months ! They have no clue how to mate and arent fertile when its breeding season he will mate properly coz hes older

Ok whew but I have to admit it cracks me up when he does this. Of course the kids 14 and 12 are like ummm mom what is he doing when I saying trying to mate they say EWWWWWWWW
