I have three geese, they are eating loads of greens to the point of as many lettuce as it's possible to give them and can devour a cabbage in 3 minutes along with their crumb. The poultry farm said it's ok to continue with the baby crumb until it's gone (10kg) is this correct nutritionally.?

Also as they're very big now at 7 wk old I've introduced hay to their hut from the pet store.
Its hay from cut grass they bail in the fields over here. Is it ok for them to eat this as they''re munching away merrily out there.

I have put vinyl flooring down and covered it with shavings and straw but I'm worried that it will become slippery. Would a good layer of sand be ok on top of the vinyl. This will make it easy to keep cleen and sanitary for them.

Any tips what so ever are most welcome with me being new to this...:/
