I'm new to geese and would like to know what breed these are. They are beautiful!

I have a pair that i hatched and raised myself. Out of all the adult geese they are my favorites very calm, not too loud and are not trouble makers they wont start a fight but if they are getting picked on they will finish a fight lol
We are getting some record cold here. Daytime highs are going to be below zero! Brr!!!
Flockman we are getting some cold temps here in MO. Tonight it will be -11 degrees.
-16 tonight. We have had about 10 inches just with this storm. Still not done yet either.

ive been reading that geese actually like the cold. its the heat they cant stand.Me either they are some tough cookies for sure. hey
Well I can honestly say Sammy my gander isn't a fan of the extremes we have been getting, he spends alot of his time laying on his feet. Today they thought spring had sprung with upper 40's I didn't have the heart to tell them it was going to be -5 Tues morn.
Well in the winter their ancestors the greylags go to southern europe, so it´s still cold but not as cold as some of you guys are getting!
In the summer greylags go to Iceland and across the north of Europe (some greylags get right across to Asia), so it can get quite warm there, too. My geese prefer to stay in the shade when it gets into the 30sCentigrade (90sF) It seems they don´t like extremes......and they´re not alone!
