    1) What type of bird , age and weight.
    Lt Brahma, 6 months probably...

    2) What is the behavior, exactly.
swollen eye and matted neck feathers

    3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?
    approaching one week

    4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms?
one did, but both her eyes were affected and she finally opened them, but to discover she was blind. I culled her.

    5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
    none that I can tell

    6) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.
Maybe pecking order to the extremes

    7) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.
22% laying pellets and the occasional scratch grains with free range activity

    8) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.
hard to distinguish hers, but more cecal poops lately than I have seen before... Not sure... None that look off, just cecal

    9) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?
Nothing. I don't know what could be wrong...

10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?
No poultry vets near here, so self-administer...

    11) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.

    12) Describe the housing/bedding in use
Housing is adequate... Nice ventilation. Etc. Bedding, I use sand...
