My girl hurt her leg

We were on vacation and when we returned our little girl Willie was dragging one of her legs she cant stand on it. We think she might have gotten it stuck in the fence other than that she seems ok. Can she recover from an injury like this. Maybe we should take her to the vet?

If you have a vet that sees chickens, then I would recommend that. I think you can find an article on splinting the leg in the injuries forum. I hope she recovers quickly!

Depending on the injury, I'd say she has a good chance. I had a rooster that lost both of his legs from a weasel attack. He healed fine and lived for years.
