SOMETHING would get him at night without the protection of a predator proof coop. When we take any animal into our care we are responsible for their well being. If he is this aggressive and you are too inexperienced to deal with him, the kindest thing is to try to find him a new home or humanely euthanize him. Not allow him to be torn apart by something.

At night he is inside his play pen as I call it . He's got his coop . He's only out in day light and his door is open for him to be able to come and go.

Aggression is a culling offense in my book. I don’t think you are going to rehabilitate him and the best thing to do is to humanely kill him. I prefer the broomstick method, myself. I followed the example in this video and have been successful many times.

Hello, I've heard it said the meaner the rooster, the better the soup.

Folks I don't want to hurt him or kill him if not necessary I'm trying to find a way to calm him down to be less violent and for him to be trusting . I've always held him as a baby but things changed as he got older.
If there's no chance of calming him I will put him to sleep properly.
