Folks I don't want to hurt him or kill him if not necessary I'm trying to find a way to calm him down to be less violent and for him to be trusting . I've always held him as a baby but things changed as he got older.
If there's no chance of calming him I will put him to sleep properly.
Sorry you found yourself in this position. Unfortunately, horny roosters aren't exactly uncommon. However, I don't recommend trying to rehome a mean rooster. Why? Because they are an ongoing problem and a constant risk. They are unpredictable and that's not something I like to pass on to other people. Plus, these bad genes can pass down, and I doubt the general public wants to propagate these kind of behaviors. So my advice is simple...send him to freezer camp.Hi everyone growing up we had chickens . I bought a few babies (chicks) asked for all hens but got a HIM SATAN himself. Polish rooster and he's meaner than cat crap. I've done the holding him petting him give him treats but he still wants to draw blood. He's even been turned into free range thinking that would calm him nope he's made friends with stray cats . Yes he plays with stray cats. Any advice I'm willing to try before I have to send him off to another planet. Picture is my roo Phyllis Diller..
