My girls are laying there first eggs 😀

My ladies have started laying had them from hatching so it's a proud moment! Little tiny eggs at the moment and I am not sure who is laying up to now but had 2 eggs this morning so only one chicken left to start laying.
They are such characters and a huge part of the family one good thing that has come from this crazy year we are having! Who knew chickens make such amazing pets!!! My daughter is like a mum to them absolutely obsessed and they love her follow her round like the pied piper.

It's crazy as I thought end of August mine would start but it was Monday when we got our first one and one each day then 2 today. They are very proud of themselves eating grit by the barrel tho so have to keep an eye on it. Can't wait to have some for breakfast tomorrow

Literally a crazy proud feeling isnt it everyone thinks I am bonkers when I tell them and how exciting it is!! Congrats on your first eggs too hope they taste good. We are having ours tomorrow.
