I think it could be the shell did not form properly? Sometimes my shells have bumps on them, not quite like that though. I eat those eggs and they appear just fine.
It’s extra calcium. I’ve had a couple hens that always had a little extra on top and some that had it occasionally. Nothing to worry about. What are you feeding them?
