I love it that they are so fond of me! Our more recent chicks haven't been handled like this first group. They won't be nearly as tame. That's OK--I don't want to be engulfed by 19 chickens. Ten is enough!
The younger chickies sure are cute, though. They are Auracanas. I am not sure yet if there are any roos. If so, I will have to rehome them. Or, at least, make them a bachelor pad!
My older girls are three Red Sex-links, three Black Sex-links, and four RIR. I never thought I would be so attached to chickens!
