My Golden Laced Wyandolte has a broken toe, help!!!

I noticed her limping while running through the yard trying to keep up with our flock. At first I thought bumblefoot, but no. After catching her and bringing her inside to rest I took a day to observe and I'm positive that her middle toe on her left foot is broken. She isn't using the foot at all but when she does the toe curls under and I can tell it hurts her when she is forced to put weight on it. I'm assuming at this point I need to splint her toe and I'll keep her in the house so she's not picked on and trying to keep up with the others causing more damage. I'm desperate for advice though? The toe isn't swollen, but it falls when she lifts her foot.
 
Do you have any pictures of the foot? Sometimes you can leave a broken toe alone. There is a splint that you can make in the shape of a kite out of a cut foam meat tray from the supermarket. Double or triple it, and tape the foot flat with the toenails just over the edge. There is a picture of one on page 23 in this splinting link:
