Whenever I've used antibiotics that are not water dispersible, I make it a point to use Probios dispersible powder in drinkers to prevent digestive irritation. The reason I avoid other forms of probiotic bacteria such as yogurt, those contained in milk products, or vitamin supplements is because those minerals have adverse effects to absorption of fluoroquinolones like Baytril. Of course, it is always a good idea to supplement vitamin-electrolyte-probiotic in waterers after the last day of antibiotic therapy.
