my goose is sick I need some help

Thank you Mike hopefully this baytril works it baffles me how it takes 3_6 days to get a fecal test done as you and I know sometimes birds cannot wait that long without critical care I did get the test where they find out what it is and what kills it best pretty expensive here in upstate ny I'm turning in I'll be on in the am thank you again

The Bayer website says the Baytril dose is 4.54 mg per pound per day. My vets have had me use the following:
  • 4.54 mg per pound (10mg/kg) *twice* a day for five days
  • 6.8 mg per pound (15mg/kg) once a day for five days
  • 9.1 mg per pound (20mg/kg) once a day for five days

And someone else had their vet prescribe 6.8 mg per pound (15mg/kg) twice a day.

This is what my book says:

I have a 18 french catheter if need be to tube feed him so do I crush pill in water to slurry and syringe feed it to him or put pill in mouth and hold bill up massaging neck? I'm scared of aspersions with slurry

10 days 22.7mg twice a day sound good? That's what's on bottle mind you she has only seen one goose In her career which I'm glad she admitted to me
