My Hatching Journey: the Adventures of a Complete Newbie

What were the symptoms? You can PM me if ya want... and yes, if it's a respiratory disease then it can affect egg viability and hatchability...

Sneezing, clear discharge from the nose, and general un-thriftiness in some.... Slight weight loss, but barely noticeable.... Some of the issues may have been due to lice though, which I have treated and are gone now.

Yeah, unthriftyness coulda been from lice, but sneezing and discharge is respiratory... weight loss could be either... could've been that the lice dropped their immune systems enough to let that 'show' and it probably won't unless they're stressed or get other immune suppression going on...

It only hit the chickens I have now, which were just barely moved outside at the time.. The established flock never got it, except for the 2 roosters that brought it in in the first place. It hit some harder than others, with Jace only getting a little discharge occasionally while Bubbles got the whole symptom chart. He also had the worst lice case.
Don't know if any of this is relevant, just throwing it out there..

Probably.... So do you think it will show up again if they are stressed?

I'm hoping it isn't Mycoplasma Gallisepticum, which sounds like a whole load of fun to deal with.

I would almost bet on it, if it's a respiratory disease... they'll look fine and be healthy for the most part as long as diet is good, coop is good and uncrowded, etc... but stressors are what brings those to the surface...

It sounds like one of those types... no way to know unless you get one tested though...
