Ain't gonna set until my new coop is up, I'm afraid. So the bator is unplugged.

At this point I'm considering incubating my infertile duck eggs just so I can have something to turn and stare at in the bator... I am a sad, sad case...

I'm in a similar situation. Have too many birds for my space, and no where to separate anyone out. Culled 3the other day which helped, but really need to build another area.

So no hatching this year for me either.

How can you resist that face? More accurately, how are you gonna get the eggs away from that face?

She's actually a real sweet broody. Never pecked anyone, ever, but she sure looks fierce, eh?

She's good if I steal her babies too; if they started screaming she would fret terribly but she still didn't try to scalp me.
