preach this all the time . incubators need stable environments even the most expensive . doesn't matter how much it cost or how great it is .I'm living proof of that . really struggled with what the book says. but the one thing the book says is stable environment . I think CH is having temperature spikes for that reason . he is blaming the fan but not so . now winter or summer copy what you have done Ambient temperature and humidity are so important to internal temperature and humidity . make notes as you have be doing and you will be the master when you are helping someone and I know you will. I :bow to your future greatness . want some more it's free ?now have to back up and take of something

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I hope this batch turns out well.

Thank you, I hope it stays this steady. :fl

I almost wonder if it might be possible to do shipped eggs in here, before I actually plugged it it I wouldn't have thought to touch shipped eggs in a LG with a ten foot pole. Now I am seriously wondering.... I do oh-so-want more sultans......
. If this hatch goes well and you have the money, I'd say go for the shipped Suktan eggs. Buying shipped eggs is a gamble and if you look at them like buying lottery tickets. Many won't make it, but once in a while you hit the jackpot. Just don't get your hopes up.

I think if I ever want to expand at all I'd probably have to go with shipped eggs I really don't sees a lot of chicken sold around here. They do have a couple of small swap meets every year...last year was a bust though because off avian flu....

I always keep my hopes low. I can't be disappointed that way. ;)

Sadly, finding Sultan hatching eggs seems to be next to impossible. It's easier to find Ayam Cemani, for goodness sakes.

...Although, those are neat too. Hmm...
