    Ameraucanas. I hatched my first ever a few weeks ago, and set 28 in one incubator and 27 in the other

    I'm getting these beautiful blue eggs from my EE's, and it it is killing me not to set them all!
    Same with the purple(ish) spotted brown ones.... [​IMG]

    The best hatches I have are from EEs. The last one, every one hatched

    Really? Huh, that's interesting.


    I'll have to note the colors of any eggs that hatch with mine.... Will be interesting to see if I get the same results.

    I've read that it's because they are hybrids, and that makes strong chicks

    My dear darling husband rushed me out of the house and I didn't get to candle!! We were running out of daylight. Will have to wait till I get home on Sunday. :he

    Is it still snowing up that way? Watch out for the ice hole. It looks like pure, white snow, but it's really dirty, dirty ice. A buddy of mine stepped in it, and it made him sick. He's better now, but I still have some ice in my mailbox. If he gets sick again, I'll send it to the postmaster and have it analyzed [​IMG]
