I'm getting these beautiful blue eggs from my EEs, and it it is killing me not to set them all. I find myself dreaming of how to fit more chickens in my coop. Are these the symptoms of addiction they warned us about?

Same with the pretty purple spotted brown ones....

I'll have to note the colors of any eggs that hatch with mine.

I've read that it's because they are hybrids, and that makes strong chicks

My dear darling husband rushed me out of the house and I didn't get to candle!! We were running out of daylight. Will have to wait till I get home on Sunday.

Is it still snowing up that way? Watch out for the ice hole. It looks like pure, white snow, but it's really dirty, dirty ice. A buddy of mine stepped in it, and it made him sick. He's better now, but I still have some ice in my mailbox. If he gets sick again, I'll send it to the postmaster and have it analyzed
