I was at TSC yesterday and they got in a shipment of chicks. Saw the guy open the box, and some "jumped out" into the brooder bin below. They were pale, so you couldn't tell whether they were in the right bin or not, and they blended in so you couldn't tell which ones they were.
Someone is going to get a surprise if they buy Buff Orps from that bin.
Ok , so I tried replacing the battery and letting the hygro/thermo sit, but it appears that it was defective. New one arrives in a few days sothat this one works and I can set by the end of this week!
