My Hatching Journey: the Adventures of a Complete Newbie

Okay, since the cooler I found was too small and I couldn't find any bigger, I took a plastic tub and bubble insulator and made this for a bator body. Ordering the wafer thermostat today, and hopefully with a lot of luck, duck tape, and hot glue I should have myself a bator soon.

And yes, I did run out of blue duck tape halfway through. :oops:

Hatching eggs is a very fun experience. I tried to hat twenty-three. Only five of the chickens hatched.
I used an automatic egg turner instead of doing it by hand.My favorite part of hatching the eggs was
Watching them break out of there shell. The incubator I bought had a slight crack on the top of it. Luckily
it did not effect the chicken eggs.Hatching eggs is an amazing expire cue to watch.

my first thought is keep looking but not my incubator so keep us posted .
