Okay, candled on day 2.... About 5 have jiggly air cells still. Are these OK to turn, or do I wait?

My last batch sat for 12 hours, then went right into the bator and started turning, all of them, even the ones with horrible air cells.

Best shipped hatch I've ever had.

Not a big enough to sample to be statistically significant, but I'll probably do the same thing next time, too,

Most of the air cells are reattached now, a few are still loose but I'm gonna go ahead and turn them.

All the CCL look good though!!

You did what I would . I really never look much at air cell on shipped eggs . Everything I've read and been told is if you get 50 % with shipped eggs you've done good . The things that concern me most are if their cracked and are they scrambled but you can't really tell without cracking them open. Depending on what and how the hen eats yokes can be lighter and are hard to see sometimes . The cell should be the proper size for the age of the egg. Do what you did with the second hatch Banty and maybe have a good hatch

other thing keep the changing weather in mind . We're already hitting close to the 90s here. The school hatch went well for them they hatched 26 out of 41 . and the students loved it . they want to do it again next year . I'm thinking about building a full view Incubator. both wild turkey eggs are growing right along.

That is true. The reason I was wondering if they were scrambled was some had a yellow haze around the edge of the air cell & no defined line. I sure won't crack them now though.

I just did a spot candle and THERE ARE VEINS IN SOME!! A few others are icky, fluidy, and scrambled, but SQUEEEEE!! They're alive.

Oh, forgot to say. Air cells are way too huge, so I boosted humidity even more....
