Oh, forgot to add. I did add another layer of insulation and it has helped quite a bit with temp stability. It's staying at 99-100.

It's instead of opening the top, silly!
I left it open overnight to see what it did, and temps were still even & stable in the AM.


All the insulation is still there, it's just slit.....
