I am so sorry for your loss! I just saw a picture of Biscuit and her chicks recently on another thread and thought they were so cute. Prayers and hugs to you and your family.

I am also very sorry, and thank you for telling us about your tragedy so that we can learn from it as well. I can't tell you how many times I worry about whether or not I've left a door open, or not securely latched. It can happen to the best of us....and does.
 
Oh gosh, that is too sad. I remember cooing over their picture when you first posted it. How heartbreaking!
