My hen broke her beak

I have a one year old hen and when I came to give them snacks today I noticed the tip of her beak was broken. It’s not bleeding and it’s hasn’t fallen off. But should I do anything about it? She is acting normal and fine

That type of beak injury can be common when they stick the beaks through chicken wire or other metal fencing. It doesn’t look too serious, and it should grow a new layer of keratin eventually. Since beak injuries make them very painful, make sure that she is eating and drinking enough.

She is eating and drinking great but I will keep an eye on it. That you for the help
