My hen can't walk!

Suddenly, my hen can't walk. Falls over. Her feet seem flat and her toes are sort of limp and will curl under when I try to place them in a proper position. Her legs seem weal. because she'd prefer to crouch down instead of standing up. She eats well and drinks, and went nuts for a banana this morning. She does have the runs, which may be new. With a dozen identical girls it's hard to tell who has what. I know that she (all of them) were fine the night before and this just showed up yesterday evening. I brought her into the basement and rigged up a perch for her, with some support in front and in back, in case she couldn't hold on, but her perch grip seems fine, and she shows no interest in leaving it. I have food and water there where she can get at it and she's going for it. Could this be bumblefoot? If so, is there any treatment or cure? Can anybody give me any other ideas? I have never seen this before in several years of chicken keeping. And, importantly, is this contagious and how should I keep my other girls healthy?

Update: after several days of perching and seemingly happy in the basement {dark} where she ate and drank just fine, I found her dead on the floor this morning. Any ideas as to what it was? I don't want my other girls getting this. Do I fumigate or burn down the hen house, of what??

I am so sorry for your loss. I am not a chicken expert, but if the other birds haven't come down with loose stools or other symptoms by now, my best guess is that something went wrong internally. Again, very sorry about your hen.
