My hen crows laid two eggs and wont seem to lay anymore she is about 6 months old

If you only have two birds, and you got a white and a brown egg, you have two hens. The only other option is someone is playing a trick on you. Roosters don't have ovaries.

that may be a possability someone putting store eggs into the nest box, esspecially if you say you have only 2 chicken as they wont know where to lay the first eggs unless they are coaxed with fake eggs left in nest box
very rare will you find chicken have layed a first egg in teh nest box when they dont follow others from the flock or have been trained

my chicken would lay every where for about 2 weeks and then eventually learnt the nest box, now all new chicken use the nest box as they follow the lead of the other chicken

I only have two chicken the eggs were in the same nest one was white and the other egg was brown. well if everyone is saying both chickens are roosters then the eggs might have been rooster eggs which are eggs that are not complete which explains the one time deal.

Rooster eggs is a myth, they are called Fart eggs layed by hens (eggs without yolks) (dont worry about that as that is a whole different thing and nowt to do with your being hens or roos)

Are your birds golden buffs, golden sex link, golden comets and I can't remember the rest of the names for that breed? If so the roos are very light in color, mostly white. I questioned a couple of my girls for awhile and decided that I would wait until they either crowed or laid eggs. No crowing yet but plenty of eggs 11/11. Are you feeding them laying feed? Oh and my girls started laying in the nest, only a few started laying outside the nest which is a pain in the bum! no pun intended~!

I read this yesterday reading about the sercomstances I was having that is why I said what I said before.

A rooster is, of course, a male chicken, and only hens, or female chickens, lay eggs. But every now and then, a disease may cause a rooster to change its gender and become a hen, or vice-versa. Some of these roosters-turned-hens have actually laid eggs!
But this still does not mean that a rooster can lay an egg; it’s still true that only a female chicken can lay an egg. The most we can say about the rooster’s egg-laying ability is that some roosters that turn into hens can lay eggs.
Sometimes, small, misshapen eggs found in a hen house are called “rooster’s eggs.” But these are simply hen eggs that failed to develop properly.

My chickens are golden sex links. I live out in he country on the lake so not many neighbors and no one to pull a nasty joke. when do chickens start crowing because just after the eggs were put in there jasper started to crow and then a few weeks latter Red started to crow that's why I started to think Red was hen and she was so fat it would have made since but then it started to crow and they are six months old so you can see were I am confused.
