Is she a sex link? I didn't know they went broody.

She is a sex link, well I order Golden Sex Links, however out of the five I got she was actually red.

Thelma got off her nest she is sitting on 20 eggs (2 are cracked) HELP! Do I leave her and the eggs be?

I can't give any advice on moving her, but I'm glad you found her, that sneaky little hen.

Take out the cracked ones. As far as moving her.. eh. I don't know. I'm not an expert. My broody was a wild chicken up until 3 months ago. She isn't tame per say so I left her put and am letting her be the boss. Once the babies are hatched I'll have to brood them inside since she doesn't roost in the coop, I suppose.

Hi, you have to remove the cracked eggs or they will stink but as for Thelma, you have to leave her where she is! If you move her, she will leave her eggs to go hatch more somewhere else!
