My hen has been sneezing a lot lately and been having a lot of clear liquid coming out of her beak.its pretty cold outside but I'm worried.other than that she seems fine. Can someone please tell me what she might have and what to do? Thanks!

I don't have any advice, but am going to follow this thread, as I also have a hen who is sneezing a lot and makes a wheezing noise when she breathes like her nasal passage is clogged up.

How is the ventilation inside the coop? Soiled bedding emits ammonia fumes which can show the symptoms you're seeing and hearing. It might be time to replace soiled bedding with new bedding.
It's also possible you might be dealing with a respiratory disease. Are there any other birds showing symptoms? Have you introduced new birds lately? If so, did you quarantine them for at least 6 weeks and away from your existing birds?

:welcome
I've had chickens sneeze once in a while, but not often. If your chicken is vomiting she most likely is eating that. You want to stop her from doing that, for it probably not good for her to be eating that.

I just cleaned her coop and it is pretty well ventilated. But she seems to be getting better. Thanks for the reply! I should remember it for later.

I also haven't introduced new birds. She seems better and everything else is good. Again, thanks for the help!

My hen got worse again. She's giving out more clear snot but other than that is healthy. Probably is nothing but just to make sure does anyone have any ideas for medications? Thanks. Here's a picture of her if it helps.Making occasional wheezes.

Look up Maersk Disease or Newcastle Disease. It has been wet here and I just lost 65 chickens in 6 days. Also look up pictures to compare to. Good luck
